全国でも稀な絶滅危惧種・クマガイソウが自生する群生地。毎年5月に「クマガイソウの里まつり」を開催し、この期間のみ限定公開している。期間限定で提供される藤八蕎麦は、毎年売り切れるほど大人気。

This is a habitat where the endangered Kumagaiso, a rare and endangered plant in Japan, grows wild. The “Kumagaiso no Sato Festival” is held every May, and the area is open to the public only during this period. Fujihachi Soba noodles served during the festival are so popular that they sell out every year.
